From a young age, I had a passion for dance and thrived on the technical elements behind the movement. Dance has been a huge part of my life for 20 years, starting with ballet, moving on to competitions and conventions, and later on having the chance to begin sharing my passion through teaching. While studying at the University of Oklahoma, I was a member of the OU Pom Squad where I had the opportunity to dance in front of tens of thousands of fans every Saturday and compete with my teammates each year. When I took my first barre class, I instantly knew this was a great workout for me, and brought out so many technical elements of dance I had studied for so long. I am barre certified, and continue to learn more about the practice with each class I take. I look forward to sharing my love for barre and dance with each of you!
